Month 5 (12/22 - 1/21)
We are on the road again to Ellicott City, Maryland to visit with the Karounas, Reniers, Lutchenkovs and Pauls for Christmas. It is so fun to see more cousins. Boy, my family sure is loud. I got to meet Mum-Mum's old friends Angela, Ann, and Robert and their kids Niki and Lukas. Sorry we didn't get to meet Sasha and the twins, but next time around! I like this Christmas thing. Spend time with family, eat well and open presents. How fun! Pop-Pop got me a cell phone for Christmas, but I am gunning for the real thing. Droid rocks! So sad to leave MD after just a week, but heading to Florida to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Paul. I am proud to say I can officially sit up on my own and also suck on my big toes. Having a blast spending time with Grandma and Grandpa. We go for walks everyday, see beautiful sunsets from their balcony and they let me squeeze their cheeks with my hands as I try to eat their faces to help with my teething. Pop-pop got back from a week in Belize getting things ready for us. We had fun walking to breakfast at Stella's in Gulfport and going to the farmer's market in St. Petersburg. We enjoyed brunch with Grandma and Grandpa at their club. Ok, it's supposed to be warm here in FL. Why am I wearing a snow hat and fleece blanket? We have been in Belize over a week and are finally posting pictures to the website. We arrived on 1/16 and have been getting acclimated. The weather is amazing here, and Mum-Mum and I have seen our fair share of sunrises from the "watch tower" (aka top floor balcony). Dookie is alos having a blast. He loves the ocean and is trying to make nice with the local dogs, most of whom are gigantic.
See Flickr for more pictures of Christmas in MD.
Month 4 (11/21 - 12/21)
Today on my four month birthday, we embarked on our road trip to visit Granddad and Grandma Southwell in Michigan. We stayed in four hotels and arrived in Michigan on Thanksgiving Day. I need to get all bundled up to go outside here in the white stuff. I love to wear the winter hat that cousin Jacob knit for me. Having fun with all the cousins and family. Grandma is teaching me how to read and play the piano. How adorable am I in my new knit dress? Mum-mum couldn't decide which picture was the best, so she had to post them all. My gums sure are sore. Aunt Lindsey was smiling....before I decided to spit up all over her nice sweater. I got to meet my Great Grandad Rex, Great Grandma Lucht and Great Grandpa Lucht. There sure is a lot of snow here in Michigan! We celebrated an early Christmas in Michigan. I was too tired to enjoy the family singing Christmas carols, but I tried to hold it together. Dookie sure loves the Michigan snow. Mum-mum and Pop-pop enjoyed a ride on the Argo while I napped. I enjoyed "eating" my first meal of rice cereal. Not sure I swallowed much of it, but I get to eat with a spoon and try out a sippy cup. Pop-pop kept teasing me with pizza. I enjoyed my lunch with the grands and great-grands at Cracker Barrel and enjoyed movie night with the whole family. We sure will miss Michigan, but off to our next adventure tomorrow (Fri 12/17).

Month 3 (10/21 - 11/21)
I turned three months old today (10/21). Happy birthday to me! I enjoyed the day with a visit from Aunt Rachael, watching TV with Pop-Pop, enjoying bath time with Mum-Mum and then passing out after a filling dinner. Who knew Halloween was so fun. Even though Mum-Mum tried to feed me to a giant spider and Pop-Pop made me face off with a ghoul, I had a great time at the Springs Preserve Haunted Harvest. Pop-Pop surprised Mum-Mum for their anniversary with my birthstone. Dookie sure has taken a liking to my Boppy. We went to Bite Of Vegas on Saturday with our friends Bryan, Kerry and Colton to enjoy a beautiful Fall day and some snacks. Today I helped Auntie Tanya make piroshki for Grandpa Paul's birthday. I have a feeling I'll be good in the kitchen. Just look how I wield that wooden spoon! I love chewing on just about anything I can get my gums on. I was in the kitchen again helping Pop-Pop make chili. Too bad I won't be able to enjoy it for a few years. Lounging in front of the TV in my pumpkin outfit can get tiring. Thanks to Aunt Eva I got to be a lion for Halloween. This will make my Aunt Sandy very happy, but it made my Pop-Pop shake his head in sympathy for my humiliation. :-) Sometimes holding my head up gets tiring and I need to slump over and take a nap. Lately, I've been falling asleep in front of the TV. I really can't help but smile at just about everything, from the time I wake up in the morning until I go to bed. My parents are so lucky! Ok, really, how many toys does a girl need? I discovered my "outside" voice this week. I drool, A LOT. I'm not sure I like bundling up for winter, but I sure look cute in my new hat. What's with the cow? How wonderful are our friends to treat us to a farewell dinner at Grimaldi's. The pizza was delicious (I think), but the company was even better. Here I am with my British boyfriend, Vegas. I know how to handle the boys.

Week 13 (10/13 - 10/19)
I'm starting to get the hang of the activity mat, although I still can't say I am crazy about tummy time. I do love holding onto my two rings and putting them up to my mouth. I also love staring at the owl on the quilt that Mum-mum made me above my changing table. He makes me laugh and giggle. I realized this week that I have two furry canine brothers. I've been staring at Dookie quite a bit and trying to pat his nose. I think I love TV way to much for a 3-month old. Pop-pop even puts me in charge of the remote control.
Week 12 (10/6 - 10/12)
I discovered I love lying on a blanket under a big tree in the park on a beautiful sunny day when it is in the 70's! What gorgeous weather we've been having. I smiled and giggled the whole time. I'll be so sad when I outgrow my boppy for napping. What a blast we had at Kerry and Kindra's house for the Alexander family reunion BBQ. I met my new friend from across the pond, Vegas, who flew in from England with Rudy and Ginger. And I couldn't help but stare and smile at my fellow baldy, Uncle Bryan.
Week 11 (9/29 - 10/5)
I found a good nap spot in Auntie Tanya's room with Cabo. He seems to like me more and more each day. I'm still not digging these sun glass thingies. They make me scream. I can sleep just about anywhere, especially after a good burp. My socks never stay on. My pop-pop is a brave man, putting me on his head like that.
Week 10 (9/22 - 9/28)
What unbelievably majestic skies we have seen from our upper deck. Hurricane Matthew is on its way to Belize, so we are saying goodbye a couple days early and returning home on Friday. What a way to end our vacation! I was excited to meet Auntie Tanya when we returned home. I also tried out the Bumbo from Aunt Darcie and family and will be able to use it soon when I can fully balance my head. Wow, look how much I've grown in just 8 weeks! I'm liking bath time a little bit more nowadays.
